About FreeVectorizer

FreeVectorizer converts pixel images — PNG, JPG, WEBP, HEIC, BMP, GIF and PDF — into vector graphics (SVG and DXF), entirely inside your browser.

Why “in your browser” is the whole point

Classic online converters upload your file to a server, convert it there, and let you download the result. That model has three built-in problems: your files travel (privacy), servers cost money (hence quotas, queues and “premium” upsells), and you wait on someone else’s hardware. This site does the work on your device instead. Your files never leave your machine, there is no file-size billing, and the converter keeps working even offline once the page is loaded.

How the site is financed

Through unobtrusive display advertising — the reason a free tool can stay free without selling “pro” tiers or your data. Ad cookies are only set with your consent; declining keeps the converter fully functional.

Honesty section

Tracing reconstructs shapes from pixels. It is excellent for logos, drawings, scans and cutting templates, and it deliberately stylizes photographs. It cannot recover detail that is not in your source image, and no converter can — whatever their landing page says. The side-by-side preview exists so you can judge every result before downloading.
