The short version

• Your files are never uploaded. All conversion happens locally in your browser; we technically cannot see, store or access your images.
• We set no cookies without consent. Advertising cookies load only after you accept them in the consent banner.
• Hosting necessarily processes your IP address to deliver the site (see below).

2. File conversion

Images and PDFs you convert are processed exclusively on your device using JavaScript and WebAssembly in your browser. No file content, file name or metadata is transmitted to us or to any third party. This is verifiable: the converter works with your network connection disabled.

3. Hosting / server logs

When you open the site, the hosting provider processes your IP address and standard request metadata to deliver the pages (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.); see Cloudflare’s privacy policy and their data processing terms.

4. Advertising and consent

We finance the site with Google AdSense. Advertising scripts and cookies load only after you consent via the banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you decline, no ad requests are made and the site remains fully functional. You can change your choice anytime by clearing this site’s data in your browser. When active, Google processes data as described in Google’s partner sites policy.

5. Local storage

The site stores two values in your browser’s localStorage: your theme choice (light/dark) and your consent decision. Neither is transmitted anywhere.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we hold no personal data about you beyond the above, most requests resolve trivially — but contact us anytime.
